The proposal for a new cable car network for Taipei provides two functions for the city. Firstly it provides public transport to one of the city's most densely populated areas to alleviate the highly polluting moped culture but it also gives the city a much needed contemporary tourist attraction.

The architectural design takes it inspiration for the perceived wispiness of Asian environments. The cable car station draws on the ornament and structures of Taiwanese temples to create a language that is contextual yet contemporary.
